The Author

This is Archie by the way (above). You may recognise him from the front page...
He is my partner in crime. My best friend. My world. And yep... he's my model for blog pics!
There will definitely be a post about him soon which will fill you in on: why I got a dog, his issues and everything he taught me. So add me to your reading list, Archie's story is good one.
Why Hi There!
Behind all these doggy posts is their creator: Hannah! Below is a bit about her and why she created this blog…
“I should start by saying that I like dogs, well okay, I love dogs, nope you’re right, I’m completely obsessed! Since the day I was born I have always had a dog by my side and that is how I intend it to remain. Some things in life just grab us, and whilst for some it is fashion or food or flying, for me, it is animals. They grab my attention like nothing else does, and when I’m out walking my dog or on top of a horse, I feel I am where I am meant to be. I get a sense of fulfilment and joy, a feeling I never want to let go of. This passion inside me has steered me into a degree in animal behaviour and now, I’d like to share some of my knowledge about our fury friends with you. Not only do I strongly believe in listening and communicating with animals in a kind and gentle way but also that ALL pet owners should know how to do this. After all, we invited them in to live with us and it is therefore our duty to listen to what they are saying.
Why am I blogging and why should you read it? As a graduate in animal behaviour and as my training as a dog trainer and behaviourist progresses, I want to share my doggy knowledge with other dog lovers and owners. Whilst we all love our pets, are we always doing what is best for them? Not only do I want to help people understand their dog’s behaviour but also introduce the best training methods for getting reliable results in an ethical mannerr! Easy-to-follow tutorial videos will be available to help you start, progress or switch up your training, so go check them out by clicking here (coming soon!)
So, if you’re an animal lover, a dog owner or work with dogs and want to learn more about their behaviour and how to train, then stick around. Each blog will be centred around a certain furry topic so if you have any questions about canine behaviour that you’d like to read about then let me know! If I’ve managed to capture your interest the way anything covered in fur does mine, then check out my posts and join me whilst we explore the nature of our wet-nosed friends.”
